"Path to a Stream" SOLD!!!!
"Garden in Paradise" SOLD!!!!
After looking at the original condition of these two paintings (which can be viewed further down this page), I realized that I wanted to add a little background to them so I revised each of them. I am very happy with the results, I believe the changes have made each of the paintings more complete. These paintings have just been posted on ebay (12/09/07). Sailing under the Moon
SOLD!!! This painting is a single moment in time in which the moon reflects off the trees on each side of the bay and sets the sails aglow. This glow lights the way as the sailboat enters the bay. It is simply beautiful!

Yellow Tulips
This painting was one of the first that I ever painted on a canvas. It is not an original, I was learning how to paint from a book called "Art School" and replicated a painting I found in there. It is not an exact replica. I chose this painting because my mom loves the color yellow and the flowers seemed to be destined for her. This painting now resides in my mom's home and is a perfect fit! However, her beauty outshines these flowers any time of day!!! I love you mom!

Full Moon Rising
This is a nice paintings. It presents as being a little tilted in this picture, but is actually level in the horizon. "Full Moon Rising" was created completely from prussian blue shades and white. The moon glows as it rises, reflecting off each subtle wave and the land in distance.

Path to the Stream
These close-ups will allow you to see more of the details of the stream, flowers, bridge, and path to the stream. It is still difficult to capture the beauty of this painting using the digital because the painting gives off a glow. Enjoy!

Serene Lake
Sold!!!
This painting is beautiful! And once again, this picture does not do it justice!!! The sky and the water is a very light violet which compliments the colorful autumn trees. I wish you could see it how I see it. I will try to get a better view of it in later days and repost the results. I really think you will like this painting...so if you are interested, go to eBay and search either the title of this painting or Windham Originals and place your bid. There is no reserve price on this painting, so if you place the highest bid, the painting is yours. Also this painting has been priced to sell and I expect it be popular! Wouldn't it look great on your wall?

Country Sunrise
"Country Sunrise" was created and sold in 2005. It is an impressionist painting of a sunrise in Texas. It was amazing. I woke up and there was this orange glow throughout my house; it was almost spooky. I looked out the window and everything was glowing with an orange aura. I took a picture of this sunrise through the tree in my front yard and the results were impressive. This was a very popular item on eBay.

Cottage Hideaway
"Cottage Hideaway" was created in 2005 while I was living in Troy, Texas. I lived down a country dirt road and there were only a couple of houses that were closeby. I used a house that was a little down the road as a model for this house. The background for that house was similar but everything was either green or brown as is often the case in central Texas. I enhanced the trees and added the pond to create a more colorful scene. This painting was sold in 2006 on eBay.

Hidden Creek
This painting was produced and sold in 2006. It was created using pointillism and was sold quickly on eBay. Once again I must mention that it is hard to capture a perfect image, color and form, when pointillism is used; the digital camera tends to make each point distinct. This was the first time I used the pointillism style. Although I really enjoyed the outcome, it was difficult for me to use this style because I am not used to painting in the abstract.

Winter Mountains and Pond
This painting was created in 2005. It is a wintery painting of the mountains and a frozen pond in the impressionist style. There were only two colors used in this painting: prussian blue and titanium white. The many shades of blue are a lovely accent to any room. Anyone for ice skating?
"Winter Mountains and Pond" is currently on eBay for sale. You can find it by typing in the title or "Windham Original".

Secluded Stream
This painting uses pointillism to form the scene. The bushes reflect nicely in the stream while the rocks contrast the green with their blue and red tones. The focal point is where the sun shines on the shrubbery at the center of the painting. This painting is quite beautiful in person. It was hard to take a picture of it without light reflecting off the dark areas of the water. So that a reflection does not interfere with the view, I had to display the painting in colors that do not quite match the actual painting. As a result, the painting appears slightly lighter and brighter in areas than the actual painting.
"Secluded Stream is currently on eBay fo sale. You can find it by typing in "Windham original" or "Secluded Stream".

Lakeview
This painting was created in Texas during the summer of 2005. During those 100+ degree days of summer, I longed for Georgia with its Fall colors and cooler days. As a result of these longings, I painting "Lakeview" with its glistening water and beautiful Fall trees. The true colors of the painting are understated in this picture.
"Lakeview was quickly sold on eBay during that summer.

Water Garden
This painting reminds me of the perfect place for a picnic. I especially love all of the lively colors and the reflection in the water. One of my most favorite things in this life is water. I love the ocean, the lake, streams, and creeks. I have always been this way. Now I find that most of my paintings have water of some type in them. It just seems that water gives off the greatest feeling of relaxation and this painting definately supports that feeling. I wish each of you could see this painting in person! This photo does not do it justice!
"Water Garden" sold on eBay two weeks ago.

Lake Sunrise
This painting was created in the summer of 2006. I love this painting, it is like the calm before the storm. The sunrise reflects in the water and the bright red sky warns of the storm to come. Although the colors are close, the exact image is not portrayed in its true color. This image is presenting the painting in a much darker light than its actual color.
"Lake Sunrise" is currently on sale on eBay until Saturday evening (5/26). To find this painting, simply type in the title or my last name in the search box.

Ocean and Full Moon
This painting was created in May of 2007. I had just graduated from my undergraduate program and felt like I needed a vacation. However, I am unable to take a vacation so I decided to the next best thing...paint where I would like to go. I love the ocean...the waves crashing on the beach, the soothing lullaby of the ocean, the water glowing under the moon. Creating this painting reminded me of all of the beauty possessed by the ocean.
This painting was sold on eBay one week ago. Feel free to comment on this painting and any others I will post. Please continue to visit this blog to find the newest available paintings and so that you may find my works easier on eBay.
Thank you for visiting and come back soon!
